The Sacrificial anodizing of Amir-Kabir semi-sub structure successfully completed and the required licenses were issued.  The whole operation carried out in 47 days.

The fact that the anodes have more tendencies for chemical reaction than the main material of marine rig structure can lead to better protection of structure against corrosion but in the process they get sacrificed and depleted and require to be replaced by the new ones.  The anodes used were certified by the Petroleum Research Institute and were manufactured under KEPCO Engineering Directorate.

Mr. Delaviz the new managing director of KEPCO has visited the Amir-Kabir semi-sub during the anodizing operation.
