Mr Jawad Owji deputy oil minister of Iran said that Iran has imported 4 billion cubic meter of gas from Turkmenistan since March 19th 2012.
Mr Jawad Owji deputy oil minister of Iran said that Iran has imported 4 billion cubic meter of gas from Turkmenistan since March 19th 2012. According to Iranian official statistics, Turkmenistan exported 11.8 billion cubic meter of gas to Iran year which ended on March 19th 2013. Iran will partially pay with money for gas imports from Turkmenistan while other part will be bartered with goods.
He said that in the future Iran plans to do barter deals with other Central Asian and Cis countries including Kyrgyzstan Kazakhstan, Russia and Tajikistan.
