Drilling and completing a onshore exploration well in the Sufikam field

After interpreting the two-dimensional seismic information of the Golestan border region, the Sufikam exploration well was identified as the proposed location for exploratory drilling operations. After completing the construction of the access road and Well Pad, the contract for Sufikam exploration drilling operations in EPD with National Company Excavation was concluded. Rig 56 Fatah was installed in the location of this well on 11/8/2015.

The Sufikam field is located in the Kopeh-Dagh area in the northwest of Gorgan city in Golestan province. The Sufikum exploration well was drilled vertically to a depth of 2270 meters to investigate the potential of "the Lower Red Bed Series" geological horizon - one of the main gas production horizons of Turkmenistan-. After well testing and installing the relevant cement plugs on 06/04/ 2016, this well has been suspended.
